Dirty Jobs with Webster University Custodian Derryl.

15 Sep

Brian: This is Derryl and Derryl is a custodian here at Webster University. When asked what advice he would give to ten year olds this is what he said.
Derryl: I would tell them to be responsible, it would be one of the stepping stones to be out in the real world when they get older
Brian: And what is your favorite part of the job
Derryl: Uh, interacting with people.
Brian: Next we asked Derryl what his favorite part about working at Webster University is
Derryl: I like the fact that we have atmosphere, we have people back, we have a sense of normalcy, so I am very content with that I am happy about that I am glad that people are interacting like before.

Derry: Go to school, stay in school, get a good education.

Custodian Conversations: We talked to Webster University’s own Custodian Derryl

10 Sep

This is Derryl. He is one of the custodians here at Webster University. Since his start on June 7th, Derryl has gotten to meet all of the students that come into the UC on a given day. He enjoys seeing people again after the pandemic and is always super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure us students at Webster feel like we have a clean and safe University Center.
